Always sleepy despite getting enough sleep

Hey I am pretty much constantly sleepy despite getting probably more than enough sleep most nights (we’re talking 8+ hours). I am able to fall asleep almost instantly each night, which I’ve heard is a sign of sleep deprivation?? Plus, if you put me in a bed at any time of the day I could probably fall asleep pretty easily. I am a fairly anxious over thinker so obviously this could be contributing to it, but I tend to have the same issues even when I’m not particularly stressed or anxious about anything. I exercise regularly, have a healthy weight (if anything on the slightly lower end of healthy) and eat well, so I don’t really know what this could be other than something like an iron deficiency or poor sleep quality. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

This may be due to shiftwork, family demands (such as a new baby), study or social life. Other causes include sleep disorders, medication, and medical and psychiatric illnesses. Hypersomnia can be helped or cured with a few adjustments to lifestyle habits.
