No matter how early I sleep or how much I sleep, I am extremely tired in the morning and I look like shit. If I wake up feeling well rested, not long after I get up I feel so exhausted. I swear it feels like my face sags from exhaustion. I am very young, but I swear to Christ when i wake up in the morning I look like I aged 10x more and I don’t look my age until I TAKE A NAP. when I take a nap, there is a huge difference and finally I feel well rested. Why is this?
Tired of feeling and looking like crap in the morning. And now my new job scheduled me only at mornings. Help.
I never had your specific problem but I did find listening to binaural beats set to Theta waves improved the quality of my sleep noticeably. Delta waves might work too. You’ll need headphones and a free app called “Binaural Beats” for i{hone or similar. Anaerobic exercise late at night might help or if you have good insurance, go for a sleep study and get the help of a doctor specializing in sleep. Therapy and conventional meditation can help alleviate stress and anxiety that can lead to poor sleep. Good luck

I don’t drink coffee either. I exercise often, but mostly near night. I take vitamins, eat healthy. I actually didn’t start taking naps until recently and it’s like the only cure to make me look well rested
It sounds like you’re getting enough sleep so maybe get some other checks? Like your iron levels- low iron makes you tired. Low B12 can do the same.
Maybe get your thyroid checked. Impaired thyroid function can make you feel tired and also cause fluid retention giving you a puffy face in the morning.
Are you on any other meds such as antidepressants or anxiety meds? These affect your fatigue levels. As well as alcohol.
I used to go to bed at 11-1130pm and wake up at 630am.
Now I get to bed at ~900 to 930pm after taking 10mg melatonin gummies 1hr prior. The gummies work the best for me. This is a higher dose than some take, but I am also 225lbs 6ft 5.
Have you looked into why you’re still so wiped? Could be a sleep cycle thing where you’re waking up at the wrong stage. Maybe try a sleep tracker app to see if it lines up.
