How many hours of sleep do you usually get per night?
7 to 7.5 hours when I’m tired. If I’m not, I rely on medication to get the same amount of sleep. Without it, I struggle with anxiety and barely sleep.
Usually 7.5, but I don’t feel great without at least 8.5 to 9 hours. If I sleep without an alarm, I can go for 10 to 11 hours straight.

This makes me feel better! Without an alarm, my body naturally sleeps a little over 9 hours. I’ve always been worried about potential health issues because of it.
@Payton
Some people just naturally need 9 hours. Looks like we’re part of that group!

Thanks for confirming! Makes me feel a lot better.
Between 6.5 to 7.5 hours.

Is a little over 9 hours too much? Health-wise?

I’m not a sleep expert, but I think over 9 hours is fine, especially if you feel rested and alert during the day. Sleep needs also vary with age—teenagers typically need more sleep. For context, I’m in my mid-thirties.
If you’re concerned, consider seeing a sleep specialist and doing a sleep study. Conditions like obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) can severely impact sleep quality and health. I discovered I had moderate OSA despite being fit and active. Treating it with an APAP machine has improved my life significantly.
Somewhere between 2 and 20 hours.
About 7.5 hours, but my sleep quality is terrible.

I might have bad quality sleep too. Is over 9 hours too much? Health-wise?
Preferably between 7 and 8 hours. I’m 31 years old.
Usually around 7 hours. I’m tired every day though.

No, just using Apple Health tracked by my Apple Watch Ultra.
4 hours.
I only sleep 3 hours at a time. I rely on medication to stay awake during the day and spend the rest of the night cleaning or playing with my cats.
