I’ve been dealing with overheating during sleep for years, and it seems to be worsening. Despite keeping the thermostat at 65 degrees, using a fan all night, and sleeping minimally dressed, I wake up feeling overheated. I recently switched to bamboo sheets, pillowcases, and duvet, but it hasn’t helped. I’m on a Purple mattress and I avoid eating or drinking past 7 PM, including caffeine. Does anyone have any tips for managing this? I’m 36, weigh 150 lbs, and have no health issues.
I also sleep hot and found that using a cotton duvet cover with a thin blanket helps. I keep the bedroom door open for better air circulation, which has made a significant difference.

I struggle with using just a sheet; it’s too uncomfortable without a duvet or comforter. Is your blanket cotton?
@Shiloh
Yes, my blanket is cotton. You might find that separating the cover and blanket helps with temperature control during the night.
Have you noticed any changes in your heat tolerance during the day or any other health changes?

I’ve always been warm at night but recently feel normal or slightly cool during the day. No other health changes.
@Shiloh
It might be worth investigating if there’s a metabolic issue contributing to your nighttime heat.

That’s a good point. I’ll consider seeing a doctor if it continues or worsens.
Consider a BedJet. It’s been a game-changer for managing sleep temperature.

Seconding the BedJet, especially with a cloud sheet. It’s made a huge difference for me.

Absolutely recommend the BedJet. I even took mine on vacation!
