I work late shifts and sleep at 2-3 am. Is this bad?

I work from 4 PM to 1 AM and usually go to bed around 2-3 AM, waking up between 11 AM and noon. Should I be worried about sticking to this schedule long-term?

Honestly, it’s not a big deal as long as you’re getting enough sleep. From what you described, you’re sleeping 9-10 hours, which might actually be a bit much. Try aiming for 7-8 hours and see how you feel.

Totally agree. The quality of your sleep matters more than the exact timing. Focus on feeling rested.

Doesn’t sound too bad. Just make sure to get some sunlight in the early afternoon so your sleep pattern doesn’t get completely out of whack like mine!

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing! I spend some time in the sun after waking up. My sister always asks me what I’m doing, and I just say, ‘Photosynthesis.’

Plenty of people work late shifts, and some even prefer it because it suits their natural sleep cycle better. If you feel fine, then you’re probably good.

You’re fine! I woke up at 5 PM the other day, and life goes on.

You’re doomed! (Just kidding, you’re probably fine.)

Make sure you’re taking Vitamin D3 with your first meal of the day, especially if you don’t get enough sunlight.

Kid, you’re not just cooked—your goose is cooked too! :joy:
