I know this sounds basic, but it takes me about 4 hours to fall asleep. I’ve already done my research, but I’m looking for tips or advice from anyone who has been through this.
You might have Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder, which I also struggle with. I couldn’t fall asleep until 5 AM. The only thing that helps me is Ambien. I really feel for you; taking that long to fall asleep is tough.
@Zoren
How has your life changed since starting Ambien? Did your doctor make it difficult to get a treatment plan?
I go through this sometimes too. Thankfully, I’ve established a good routine with some supplements, including Unisom. It’s not a long-term solution, but I have a psychiatrist appointment soon. Wishing you the best!
Try thinking of random fruits that start with a random letter.
Sometimes stress, too much caffeine, or just an irregular routine can be the culprits. Try doing some stretching or meditation before bed; it may sound cheesy, but it can help. Tracking your sleep patterns with something like Healify AI might also help you figure things out.
@Grier
You’re lucky; it can take me days to sleep. I usually manage only 2 or 3 hours a couple of times a week.
