What should I do if I can’t sleep for more than 6 hours?

Hey guys,
I’m an 18-year-old guy who can’t stay asleep for more than 5-6 hours. I wake up a couple of times during the night and feel extremely tired all day, almost like I’m going to black out. I don’t have trouble falling asleep, but I wake up early and can’t get back to sleep. I’ve been taking Truheight growth gummies with ashwagandha for the last 2 months and heard they might affect your sleep and liver. I also bought Truheight sleep gummies with 3mg of melatonin and ashwagandha, but I’m worried about taking them because I have HPPD, which causes disorientation, memory loss, confusion, dissociation, and daily panic attacks. I’m concerned that the melatonin might make my symptoms worse. I’m considering starting with just one gummy to see how it goes.

  • Get at least 30 minutes of natural light early in the day.
  • Maintain a consistent sleep schedule – even on weekends.
  • Optimize your bedroom environment for sleep.
  • Avoid caffeine at least eight hours before bed.
  • Don’t drink alcohol at least four hours before bed.

Sometimes insomnia is caused by a medical condition such as sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, or long-term pain. Insomnia also can be caused by a mental health condition such as depression. Treatment for one of these underlying conditions may be needed for insomnia to get better.

here are the tips;

  • Follow a consistent sleep schedule and limit sleep time to eight hours.
  • Be mindful of your diet and avoid going to bed either hungry or overly full.
  • Create a calming sleep environment.
  • Limit naps during the day.
  • Incorporate physical activity into your daily routine.
  • Manage any worries or stress.

Follow a routine that helps you wind down and relax before bed. For example, read a book, listen to soothing music, or take a hot bath. Your doctor may also recommend massage therapy, meditation, or yoga to help you relax. Acupuncture may also help improve insomnia, especially in older adults.
