Everyone wakes up; the key is not to stress about it. Waking up isn’t the problem—it’s letting it get to you.

Exactly! I’ve started expecting it, and now it doesn’t bother me as much. Sometimes I’ll just watch a show or relax, and then I’m able to fall back asleep.
I get into bed really early, like around 6 pm, even if I don’t fall asleep until later. I might wake up once around 11, but it’s easy to go back to sleep, and by morning I feel refreshed.
People try all sorts of things to sleep better. You just need to find what works for you. Some things that might help: magnesium, l-theanine, morning cold showers, or evening hot baths. There’s also a free app called OptiSelf Sleep to track what helps. Good luck!
Ever since I got to college, I can’t remember the last time I slept a full 8 hours. My roommate is partly to blame! I used to be able to sleep 12 hours straight… those were the days.
What’s waking you up?

Mostly trips to the bathroom.
