@Axel
Thank you! It’s so interesting for me because I feel like in my waking hours I have ZERO imagination. I can’t even picture something in my head when someone is explaining it in detail (eg my husband redoing a bathroom and telling me things and I’m like - I need a picture). It’s all saved for my sleep time. I do have CPTSD though.
Aside from the tips that you have mentioned do you have any other additional advice for those who work nights or rotating shifts?
Do you feel your facial appearance has improved at all?
do you smoke cannabis?

How long did it take before you were able to fall asleep so fast? How long did it take before you started training your body to fall asleep faster?

How do you stop your mind from racing?

The preparation starts as soon as you wake up. Get out of bed and sunlight right away after waking up, walk as much as you can throughout the day, dim your lights 3 hours before bed, don’t eat within 3 hours of bedtime, and you’ll notice it’s a lot easier to fall asleep once you lay in bed. I used to have crazy racing thoughts but these changes have helped a lot
When is your typical bedtime/wake time? Have the specific times that you’ve gone to bed and woken up mattered as much as the amount of sleep you’ve gotten? I think I know the answer, but I’d love to hear your input on it.
