What's the best investment you've made to improve your sleep quality?

@Emerson
I tend to wake up a few hours after falling asleep on Trazodone. Any idea why?

A really good pillow can make a significant difference.

My husband and I bought two adjustable bed frames. It feels like a king-size bed, but each side can be adjusted independently. It’s great for when one person moves a lot in their sleep.

Melatonin, because it’s affordable and effective. I’d also like something to control the temperature in my room, but that’s not feasible right now.

I use melatonin daily. Not sure about long-term effects, but I’ve never felt better.

I prefer Ashwagandha or Brahmi, which don’t give me the headaches melatonin does.

@Zuri
There’s vegan melatonin available that might be gentler. It’s sourced from plants which naturally produce melatonin.

@Zuri
True, many plants have high concentrations of melatonin. Here’s a link to a study: Melatonin in Medicinal and Food Plants: Occurrence, Bioavailability, and Health Potential for Humans - PMC

Nightease sleep glasses have significantly improved my sleep by reducing eye strain from screens at night.

You could also try red laser safety glasses for a cheaper alternative.

I bought a BedJet for my night sweats during a Black Friday sale. It’s been a total game changer for me.

Is the BedJet noisy or expensive to run?

It’s actually quite quiet and cost-effective since I don’t need to run my AC or heater at night anymore. I even made a YouTube video about why I love it.

@Orin
Could you share that YouTube video?

Thanks, loved the dog cameo!

A high-quality mattress has been the best investment for me. It’s made a huge difference in reducing how often I wake up at night.
