@Frost
You do understand there isnt much a qualified physician can do apart from hook you on drugs which would make the withdrawls leave you with 0 sleep?

Best method so far is CBT for primary insomnia. For secondary insomnia a doctor can help if the underlying reason can be treated.
But yeah, sleeping pills will eff you up.
@Noel
What does CBT stand for, because the acronym I know is cock and ball torture and I don’t think that’s what you mean

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, though for some folks both might be effective

What if you have insomnia and wake up at 3-4am? There’s no sunlight, and I don’t need to get up until 7am.
Maybe one of those sunlight simulator lamps? (Just thinking out loud)

Accupuncture! I think it has something to do with liver. If not, one of the organs.

Might be worth checking out food and supplements to support your liver if you wake during those houses of the night. In Chinese medicine it’s a sign that it’s struggling if you’re waking during those hours

look into sunlight panels. I’ve seen them pretty cheap on amazon and they’re supposed to simulate sunlight. Probably not as good as the actual sun but likely better than nothing

I go to my living room which has a lot of natural sunlight and just walk around, do little arm circles to get some blood flowing and bask in the sun for about 5 mins lol before doing anything else
@Teal
I wake up at 4:30am for work
@Teal
I’m trying all this tomorrow! Do you have to go out on the balcony or just sit by the window?

Ideally fully out side, if you’re getting it through the window it needs to be open. Think sunlight having direct access to you, not filtered through a window.
